On the 9th of July, PCN Dhivyaa and volunteer Dr Akbar attended the Cancer Pain Management Workshop 2026, organised by the Palliative Care Unit of Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) Ipoh. This one-day course included lectures, case discussion, and a forum session.
PPCS Medical Director Dato Dr Ziaudin Ahamed was invited to be one of the forum panellists, addressing questions from participants on the topic of “Cancer Pain Management Across The Continuum of Care: Challenges and Strategies”.
Many thanks to the facilitators consisting of palliative care specialists, medical officers, and allied health professionals for sharing their insights into the multi-dimensional aspects of cancer pain management.
